Shortcut Repair - Incompatible Results

I had some issues with a Shortcut. I deleted it from the folder under _Shortcuts and recreated it. That worked. However, now when I try to repair Shortcuts, I get a couple of messages about Incompatible Results Found. It says the Name was found but the Name is not an option in the "Use to Match" field.

Using the Data Shortcut Editor. I see that the Use to Match field is set to "Handle or Name".

So why would I be getting these messages?

Have you tried instead using the Manage Data Shortcuts from the Manage menu? You can see the Drawing Objects (left pane) and re-link it to Data Shortcuts (right pane)

Yes. But, I tried it again. I had a DRefed Design Profile that wasn't updating in my Corridor drawing. I deleted the Reference and got to recreate it once. However it now shows as an active DRef in my Corridor drawing but it doesn't show as a Reference in the project Shortcuts. If I try to Create it as a new Reference. It shows that it has already been created.

I think tomorrow I'll start a new drawing and see if I can get the Alignment with the profile as a Reference. Then Possibly I'd be able to copy in the corridor and have it  link to the Alignment and Profile. I may also have to create a new Alignment and Profile drawing.

When you say, "delete the reference" Are you selecting it in the drawing and deleting it then also removing it from the DS in the Toolspace?

No. I deleted the corresponding XML file in the Profiles folder under the _Shortcuts folder. One of the issues is that even though the Profile HCL_NC-CONGERS Road appears as an DREF in the Drawing section of the Prospector.

The profile doesn't appear as in the Data Shortcuts section.

I'm confused why deleting the XML file suddenly made the Drefed Profile update when it wouldn't while the XML existed.

I found a procedure that worked. Delete the Shortcut in the file it's referenced to. Remove the Reference from the Data Shortcut collection in the Prospector. Delete the corresponding XML file in the appropriate folder under the _Shortcuts folder. Open the source drawing and recreate the Shortcuts. In the target drawing re-Create the Reference.
