Sheetset manager tool palette will not stay docked after closing/reopening Civil 3D 2023. SSMAUTO is set to 1. Made sure save workspace is enabled. This happens on multiple PCs with different hardware configurations. Have all latest updates installed via Autodesk Desktop App.

You can try using LOCKUI system variable to lock your palette location after getting it where you want.

I would also check your SSMAUTOOPEN setting to make sure its loading the data into the palette.  1 will open the sheet set manager automatically when you open a drawing that is part of a sheet set.  I believe SSLOCATE also has to be set to 1.

We have the same thing happen on all our 2023 Civil3d installations. SSMAUTOOPEN is set to 1, using custom workspace doesn't help. Using customized icon that targets exported .arg files doesn't work either. Sounds like the only work around is to have the "._Sheetset" command added to startup routines.

Sounds to me like Autodesk broke another command preparing for new features that aren't released yet.
