Sheet set woes

Good afternoon...

I'm creating multiple sheet set templates for clients with unique title sheets. The latest one I have almost finished, but here's the thing. The sheet set intermittently greys out and a lock appears next to the sheet set name. All functionality except plotting is gone. Same thing for sheets within the set. I close the set and reopen it and it's back to normal - but after I fiddle with one of the sheets in the set, it greys out again. I've restarted my rig, deleted and recreated the SS completely, and reimported the drawing, but nothing has worked. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks, Tom

Is this a standard sheet set or the online sheet set?  I don't have any great ideas, I may want to change SSMPOLLTIME to a larger value so its not checking the sheet locks as often, but I do that anyway.

Are you by chance creating or editing with and external editor? JTB World for example locks the dst file while editing.

that said, as you work on these are any other users in them? this will also lock the dst from certain functions.

Hey Brian...it's a standard set. I even remade it from another template, then wiped out all the fields and started over. Same result. I'll check the polltime setting...

Hey Joe...

No, I'm creating it the standard way, and no one even knows I'm doing it. Unique name and made in my personal folder...

I checked and SSMSheetStatus is on 2, SSPolltime was 60. Changed it to 200, edited a sheet, which took about j20 seconds and it greyed again.

If you’re the only one then I would suspect the file is corrupted somehow. Can you copy the DST and prune it? Are the versions compatible?

JtB world has a tool for purging/ audit a dst file. Free for limited use
