Set Assembly Reference to a 3D Poly Or Other Than Alignment

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to apply an assembly to other than the alignment. Intent is to get benching (see assembly snip) starting from the bottom of the trench.

Am I correct in stating  that Alignments don't have a Z-value? Understand reference is possible from the top of a surface but this isn't applicable in this instance.

Thanks for the assistance,

Jack

Hi,

You can use feature lines as base lines of corridors.

Also not only surfaces but also profile gives the elevation component for a baseline.

Thanks
