Hello!

I want my trench (subassembly) to target the terrace (magenta) if it is at a lower level than the existing ground level (green).

See picture for better understanding.

Thank you!

Hi @met1ns

It is doable in SAC.

Have to add two surface targets, one for green and one more for magenda.

You can use the decision tool (If/Then) together with the function Point.DistanceToSurface() function.

Hi @met1ns

I mean to build your subassembly in sub assembly composer (SAC).

In SAC you have the option of second surface target

I already have a subassembly. Is it possible to add a second target to it?
Pretty advanced one so I prefer to not do one from scratch.

Thank you.

@met1ns

If the subassembly you have comes from SAC and imported to C3D as *.pkt file, then yes second surface target can be added. You can share it with me to take a look.

If the subassembly is build-in from C3D then another target can't be added.

What is the name of your subassembly? Can send any snapshot of it?

The subassembly is from an addon program that my company uses.
It looks like this:

Thank you for your efforts.

Edit: Adding dwg file.
