Section Views - not all showing a pipe network at alignment

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a project where, in order to avoid hitting installed underground utilities, we are doing cross section views of our lowest surface vs the existing pipe network to look for interference.

Currently, I have only the pipes crossing the road isolated, have attached sample lines as well as alignments through the centers (using the original feature lines that were used to create the 3D model of the pipe network), overlaid the surface I am concerned about and have used the "section views create multiple views option".  I did the first 20 as a test run (located in the top left of the drawing. and have included those section views (located near the top of the drawing).

Only some of the currently existing pipe network are showing in the section views and I'm stumped as to the reason occasionally (even though the pipe falls within the elevation in the section view) the pipe isn't being shown.

Would appreciate any input on this issue.

Check to see if the views are turned on in the pipe styles for the section views, of each pipe style you are using. You might also want to keep an eye on the layers.

Toolspace>Pipes>Pipe Style (Rt. Click) >Select Style >Edit

The above assumes you are using pressure pipes for the existing utilities

I was experiencing a similar issue. Basically, my pipe networks are displaying inconsistently in Section Editor. I have noticed that if I toggle the pipe style to any other style, it will appear in my section viewport until I move to another station along the corridor. Moving to a new station will cause the pipe to disappear again. Toggling the pipe style, once again, will make the pipe visible. It's a pain in the butt, but luckily I just needed to check a few stations along 30' of pipe. Not sure if there's a better way to approach this issue but I'd sure like to find out!
