Hi Fabrico,

I have seen Screen shots attached. You have reversed alignment but not assigned stationing.

Once you have reversed alignment direction you have to assign chainage system.

Please find attached image for your information.

Hi

You can do it in simple way select alignment and right click it, u will find an option for Alignment Properties.

Steps:

Alignment Properties > Station Control tab > Reference point or use station equations (which are available at ALIGNMENT PROPERTIES Window).

Unfortunately reversing the alignment only reverses the horizontal alignment. Your FG profile data is not reversed in line with the horizontal alignment being reversed. It would be nice if it did that, but it simply does not work that way. Any profiles created along that alignment will need to be edited/recreated. Corridors will then need to be updated etc. etc. The surface profiles of EG updated as that's generated differently.

Reversing an alignment is a BIG THING, which is why you get that warning message pop up when you do it. Just ask yourself if you really need to reverse it. Would changing the profile view style to display from right to left meet your needs instead? It would look reversed on the profile view, but the alignment and chainage would not be reversed.

Regards,

Peter

Thanks for replay @Anonymous

Yes, I have to do that! Unfortunately!

I'm going to draw the FG as a polyline 2D and after reversing edit the FG as a 2D polyline.

Ok, so if you absolutely have to reverse it then I would probably end up following the same approach as you mentioned. Create polyline of FG profile, Mirror it, reverse alignment, then use mirrored polyline as template to edit/create profile.

If you find yourself having to do a lot of these, there might be 3rd party software that can mirror an FG profile but I'm not aware of one, and it would not be free.

Good luck.
