In the Assembly Properties (right click on assembly > Assembly Properties) go to the Construction Tab, here you will see the order that they are being applied. In order to move the pieces into the correct order close the Assembly Properties. Click on the subassembly piece that you want to move and right click and select Move To then click on the point that you want that piece to attach to (to be listed immediately after).
