"The Survey extended property database is not open" in Civil 3D

The Survey Data Base was created in a earlier version, then edited on a recent version. I tried to open again the survey data base with the earlier version file and is giving me the error message: "The Survey extended property database is not open". Is there a way I can re- open that Survey Data Base in the earlier version file? It is not set to "Read Only".

Hi @melissa.padilla 

Survey Database changed formats between Civil 3D 2019 and 2020! and they are not backward compatible! For so many years up till Civil 3D 2019 the database format was SQL CE, then Microsoft stopped support so starting with Civil 3D 2020 the database format is now SQLite. (you can migrate forward using the migration tool, but you can not go backwards!)
