Property Set decimal digits

In the window PropertySetsDefinition, I am using the automatic definition "Volume" to calculate with formulas another object´s properties. For example, to calculate the length of a thin pipe, which was created with a corridor, I use the formula Length=Volume/(pi*(diameter/2)^2.

When I have to define the format of a property , I can select between the following options (s. column Format - Line Volume):

pset.png

Translation: (2 Nachkommastellen = 2 decimal places // ganzzahl =  integer).

It means, I can calculate the Volume with at most 3 decimal places.

I would need to calculate the volume with more decimal places (at least 5), in order to avoid errors due to the rounding (which are in my case significant).

Is it posible to do that?

Thanks you.

I can not now check, so only a hypothesis.
Maybe you can set the number of digits in EDITDRAWINGSETTINGS?

Dear АлексЮстасу,

Thank you for your answer.

I had already try it. Unfortunately it doesn´t work.

It must to be possible to create new custome formats or something like that to be able to define more decimal places for the desired property, but I don´t find it.

Hi,

exactly as @АлексЮстасу wrote.

And just a small tip about how define a new format. Click the filter icon at the top of the Style Manager to display additional categories. Then right-click Property Data Formats and New to create a new format.
