properties coordinates and listed coordinates have different precision

Hello,

The precision for my drawing units is set to 0.00 Both my properties menu and lower tool bar reflect the precision to the hundredths place, as it should be.

However, when i use the list command on a polygon, the coordinates are only listed to the nearest tenth.

This problem occurred yesterday when i deleted my command line, and then re-inserted it using the Ctrl+9 command.

I cannot figure out how to adjust the settings so that my command line will once again list the coordinates to the hundredths place.

I have attached an image of a screen shot depicting the issue. AUTOCAD_COORDINATES_HELP.pngany help will be greatly appreciated!

Very interesting. Just to narrow things down, what precision do you get when you use the ID command and just click on the screen?

You can change the precision in UNITS for the list command.

Todd,

the precision is currently set to 0.00

if i change the precision to 0.000, then oddly the precision of my listed coordinates displays to the hundredths place, but precision of my properties coordinates displays to the thousandths place as it should

I have tried to recreate your problem and can't. Does this happen in just one drawing or all the time? If its just one drawing maybe an audit will help. If its everywhere, I did run into the properties issue where when I selected an entity and went to properties the properties box had nothing selected. This is a known issue and I had to reinstall. This seems to be more a command line issue.

There is something more than a precision issue here. just looking at the output for the List it is not aligned correctly, there are characters missing from the text: Model spac (green BYLAYE"

This is what the output should be looking like:

Command: LI LIST 1 found

                  LWPOLYLINE Layer: "0"
                            Space: Model space
                   Color: 3 (green) Linetype: "BYLAYER"
                   Handle = 130f8
            Closed
    Constant width 0.0000
              area 2951974.7748
         perimeter 7335.5784

          at point X=15461.9480 Y=13774.5442 Z= 0.0000
          at point X=16086.2739 Y=14602.2398 Z= 0.0000
          at point X=18430.6813 Y=13698.1415 Z= 0.0000
          at point X=16493.9969 Y=12603.0367 Z= 0.0000

Command:

However, I sure cannot find any setting that would affect this. I think a reinstall may be in order.

It doesn't hurt to try a repair first. That way you don't loose or have to modify any custom settings.

Unfortunately the problem is occurring in all of my drawings all of the time.

jeff,

That is how my output looked before the problem occurred. At this point i believe you're correct. I cant imagine a setting that would create missing characters. Reinstall may be my best option
