C3D 2018.2 Win7
I am trying to layout a pressure network. If I audit I get the following error message: Program errors were detected. Recommend that you save your work and restart the program.
The errors it found were all the pipes I laid out. The audit operation erases the pipes. Undoing does not bring them back - I get There is nothing to undo.
I tried recovering the template dwt (no errors) starting with a new dwg. I tried having the alignment in the same dwg instead of dreffing it. The surface I am referencing is a dref.
The fittings and appurtenances are left alone - it is just the pipes - both diameters I have on this run - that are erased. The pipes are standard pipes that came with C3D and added to our organization parts list. I have not encountered this error before, ever, with pressure pipes or anything.
I tend to purge/audit/recover often because of notorious instability. in order to get this project to plan sheets I will not audit anymore, even though it is telling me there are errors.
is it the "program" I should be concerned with?
attached are the design dwg and the basemap dwg that is xref'd and has the dref surface in it if anyone wants to take a look. I did not attach the parts catalog.
