Profile Views Display in Structures in Civil 3D 2017

I'm looking for information regarding how structures are displayed in Civil 3d 2017. In previous versions if you had a profile view that only encompassed a portion of the alignment any structures at the end would show the entire structure.

Now in Civil 3D 2017 with the same situation the structures are now cropped to the end of the profile view.

I would think a change like this would come with a style option or system variable to toggle this behavior on or off. I'm not seeing anything in the structure style or profile view style. Does anyone know how to get the old behavior back?

I can see an argument for both cases, but think if it's always been that way there should be an option to keep the way it's always been.

Thank you,

Appears to be an undocumented change? I checked in 2015, it doesn't clip the structure at the end of the profile view. In 2017, same dwg, some profile view, same structure, the structure is clipped. Checked structure and profile view styles, profile view properties and structure properties, there appears to be no on/off for this. Nor does changing the view options for the structure (solid and boundary anyway, no block available) effect the clipping.

I think it is undocumented. I looked for about an hour looking for information on this change and wasn't able to find any. Looks like it's time to escalate this issue.
