Profile views - Adding custom profile points and elevations

I have a profile view where the labels have been created to show offsets of 10m ahead of and behind the low points for specific profiles. These labels use expressions.

This first image shows where the labels have been created. But they are a function of the low point label, and only show the station value.

Is there a way to get those elevations to show in the profile data bands? I would imagine that this would require elevation points. But there is no way that I have seen, to create manual profile elevation points.

The only options available are the default geometry points.

Hi @Alriddin

Thank you for posting us.

It looks that can't be achieved automatically.

You may place elevation labels manually, with Add View Labels -> Station Elevation, then select your Profile View and pinpoint the offset location.

Thanks,
Wojtek

Hi,

This is kind of a tricky method.

Since you have the elevations marked on profile, you can create a profile from it.

Otherwise you can use create profile from file option.

Then create sample lines at the stations where you have the elevation points. You can use this video for it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ahOJ_j004U

Then on profile view properties, you have sectional data-->sample line name and distance

Add this to band. Modify the style to add the elevations from new profile.

Thanks
