Profile Grade Labels show up when view direction is L-R but ones at ends disappear when view direction is R-L

We have adjusted our profile grade labels so they are anchored to the viewport rather than the profile geometry.  This way if we want to divide our profile into shorter station segments we see the station labels even if they are usually outside of the profile view, as shown in the forum post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/profile-grade-label-outside-of-profile-view/m-p/112228...

This works well when the profile view direction is left->right. If the profile view direction is from right->left then the labels outside of the view are dropped. Is there a setting needing to be changed for right->left profile views, or something else that can be done to get the view labels back?

The label is supposed to be attached to a line.  Start by checking to see if the lines exist.  In the label style make the line visible.

Hey @jbokic2F9MM. I created a similar style with the same parameters and got the same error with the Right to Left profile view. I turned on the line component as @sboon suggested, it's the yellow line. The purple one is my profile.

Solved it by using Anchor PVI Start/End in View.

Not sure why this happens, but I think is related to how Civil 3D understands what is "up" and what is "down" when you use Right to Left profile views: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/odd-label-behavior-in-right-to-left-profile/td-p/93844....
