I’m encountering an error when using my custom subassembly in Civil 3D. Specifically, when I try to apply the subassembly, I get the following message in civil 3d:

“Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”

The subassembly file itself works perfectly fine in subassembly Composer with all condition .

This happens to me when I don't assign all targets. Sometimes I intended to only allow a target to override a dimension, but I set it up wrong and the subassembly needs all the targets to build itself. I'd double check that you assigned all targets in Civil 3D.
