Points with certain NUMBERS not appearing in drawing!!!

I am creating points.  I am going sequentially.  I am up to a section where I started with 836.  It shows.  I then made 837 and when I made it it wouldn't shown on the screen.  I zoomed to it and it's right where it should be.  I checked all my layers/styles/labels styles and they match.  I then made 838 and the same thing.  Then I made 839 and it showed.  840 an 841 showed.  But 842 did not.  Then from 843 to 863 all showed!!!  I changed 837 to 1837 and 838 to 1838 and then appeared.  I changed them back to 837 and 838 and they disappeared again!  I did a recover.

What could be causing this?!?!

Image "1" shows how they are visible with 1837.

Image "3" shows me renumbering them to their original numbers.

Image "4" shows how they disappear.

Without working with the drawing. My first guess would be there is a point group that some of the points are going into. That group may have a No_Display style.

Christopher,
Curious. Can you post your drawing?

first, what command, or sequence of commands, are you using to create the points? Be honest and descriptive. There's no such thing as 'too much' explanation. Second, go to Prospector tab of Toolspace, expand Point Groups and take a screen shot of all Point Groups then upload the screen shot.

There were two "NO DISPLAY" but they had "INCLUDE ALL POINTS" checked.

So far it's been ONLY those THREE points: 837, 838, 842.

I first set my layer to "Z-7-CURB2STAKE".

I click POINTS / CREATE POINTS.

Then I set my start point number (it was 836).

I change my default Point Style for CURB and my Point Label Style for CURB.  I chose MANUAL on the top right of the menu.

I then created my first point 836 by clicking an endpoint of a line.  I entered description "4FC-COR" and entered an elevation of "0".  That point appeared.  I then clicked an endpoint for 837 an entered the same info 4FC-COR / 0.  That point did not appear.  I did the same for 838 and it did not appear 4FXx4FC-COR / 0.  Then the same for 839 and up.  839, 840, 841 appeared.  842 did not.  Then 843  all the way up 863 appeared.

I have NEVER had this happen on any other drawing since we started using ACAD2015.

those point numbers as listed are excluded from the x-surface point group, that's why they aren't showing up.

THANK YOU!!!

Is there any easy way to find that out? Like listing the properties of the point?

Yes there is.

  1. Expand 'Point Groups' on Prospector Tab. Your point groups will be listed.
  2. Right click on an individual point group and select 'Edit Points' from the shortcut menu.
  3. The Panoroma will appear. You may view all points in that group.
