Please help with my corridor quantity takeoff problem

Please see attached screen shot, I have built a corrodor and wanted to compute the sectional material in the sample lines. I have the EG surface and the the Datum surface was created from the corridor, but in the computer material dialog box, I have no option to choose the datum surface at the Datum drop down list. Did I miss something or is there something wrong with my corridor?

The datum surface needs to be sampled in the sections. Go to your sample group properties and sample more surfaces. I haven't done this in 2008 for a long time so I'm not exactly sure of the steps and I dread opening up that old of a program.

It Works! Thanks Brain.

It looks like I still have problem with my corridor. After I computer the earthwork material, why there are some cut and fill at outside of the corridor and sideslope area? please see attached screen shot. Is there something wrong with the corridor datum surface?

You need to add a boundary to your datum and/or top surface.
