Pipe label Expression

(({Pipe End Station}-{Pipe Start Station})*2)/1000  >>>> formatted as a double

I use this expression to create half a dimension line at graph view bottom. It works for my pressure pipes but not my gravity pipes in my current drawing. It does work in other drawings for gravity pipes though.

If I change the expression a bit, nothing happens after a regen. If I input a fixed length, it updates accordingly, then if I change it back to the expression, the line length holds the previous length.

Any suggestions?

I also just upgraded to Windows 10 and it is clear that Civil 3D 2015 doesn't not like it (drawing space go blank every time a dialog is brought up and closed). I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

What happens if you replace 1000 with the drawingscaleUnits function

Thanks, that wasn't it though.

I hate to admit it because I spent so much time looking at this but I didn't have the pipe tied to any alignment hence the zero changes when tweaking options. lol
