pipe crossing showing as a pipe not a ellipse

Hi all I have a pipe crossing a water main at 90 degrees but in the profile view  the crossing pipe is showing as a pipe not the ellipse at the crossing point.

The left hand window in the attached file shows the plan view and the white pipes (PPM) is the profile drawing the PBT is the crossing pipe that I am tryng to get shown as an ellipse or circle.

Any ideas please?

You need to set the pipe to a style that displays the outer walls in profile crossing display.

RT-Click on profile view and select "Profile View Properties"

From the Pipe Networks tab turn on the two "show only options" in the corner to easily display the pipes shown.

From the "Style Override" column select a style that is specifically for crossing pipes.

If you don't have one, create one that only displays the outer walls in in the profile view.

Select it for your pipe(s) and you should be good to go.
