Pipe Band Elevations

Hello,

I have a profile with with a proposed network showing in (cyan) see attached image

The elevations for my new networks inverts are on the bottom band.

As you can see it is only showing one invert for the pipe leading away from my first stucture.

I am tring to add the invert for the crossing pipe i am pointing too?

Also,

Does anyone know why civil 3d switches the inverts?

If you look at the next two inverts on the bottom you can see that 109.10 & 109.00 should be switched.

Anyone know how to change this?

I suspect that your pipe network band style is setup to show the elevations that way. You will need to edit the Pipe Network band style to correct the display of the inverts.

1. On the settings tab of Toolspace, expand the Profile View => Band Styles => Pipe Network branch and locate the band style that you are using in the profile view shown in your image.
2. Right click that Pipe Network band style and choose Edit.
3. Select the Band Details tab at the top of the dialog.
4. Select Pipe in the Labels and Ticks section.
5. Click Compose Label on the right side of the dialog.
6. In the label style composer dialog, select the Layout tab.
7. At the very top is a drop down list of all the components in this label. In the list, choose the component that contains the Invert Out (109.00 in your uploaded image).
8. In the Text Category, locate the Attachment property. If it's currently set to Top Center, change it to Bottom Center.
9. In the component name drop down list at the top, choose the component that contains the Invert In (109.10 in your uploaded image).
10. In the Text Category, locate the Attachment property. If it's currently set to Bottom Center, change it to Top Center.
11. Click OK to close the Label Style Composer dialog and apply the settings.
12. Click OK to close the Pipe Network Band Style dialog and apply the settings.

Now review the elevations in the profile view band and see if they are displayed the way you need them to be.
