Parts List Not coming up

Hello! I have a my "storm drain" network parts list from a different CAD file that I dragged into my current drawing using Toolspace. I can now set my parts list to "storm drain" and when I edit the parts list I can see all four types of pipe (HDPE, RCP, RCB and PVC), but when I go the drop down to draw my pipes, I'm only getting PVC.

I tried checking my "set network pipe catalog", but this is a parts list that came as part of another CAD file so I'm not sure where it was originally saved and how I can re-save it into my default pipe catalog. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks in advance!

You can use the Drag and Drop method to copy styles (and your parts list) between drawings.  Autodesk Civil 3D Help | About Dragging Styles or Items Between Drawings | Autodesk

Basically, open both drawings, and make the drawing that needs the part list current.  Go to the settings tab in the toolspace, make sure you are in master view, find the drawing that contains the part list, select the part list in the tree and drag onto the drawing screen of the open drawing that needs the part list.

Thanks.

Hello, that was the first thing I did actually. I've double checked that the "parts list" shown in my new drawing is showing the correct list and it is. It just the drop down menu when I go to draw my pipe network isn't showing all of the options (only PVC). I didn't mention before, but none of the structures are showing up either - I assume it's the same issue though. I've also restarted CAD and I've tried drawing the PVC pipes and then doing "swap part", but it still only showing the PVC pipes and null structure.

You need the pipe catalog that was used to create that parts list in order for it to function properly.

How do I get the pipe catalog? I was trying to figure out how to export it and save it into the "pipe catalog" folder in windows explorer, but I couldn't figure it out...

SetNetworkCatalog sets the current pipe catalog folder. If you are getting a catalog from elsewhere you need to use that command to set it current.  Its not enough to have it on your system it only uses the active catalog.

Hi Sorry for the confusion - I think that's my issue. I have the "parts list" from somewhere else, but its not in the actual network catalog. How do I save it out of the drawing so its physically in the network catalog so that its being read?
