I have recently noticed in a few of my drawings that panning and zooming around with the mouse is very jerky, not smooth. I notice it in some drawings, not others. All were created by myself. They are not particularly large files, around 1MB in size. I'm running Civil 3D 2015 on a Haswell processor with 16GB of memory so hardware should not be a factor. The video drivers are all up to date. Where would I begin to look to solve this issue?
snaps off, make sure show tooltips is off in ambient settings, have a look at previeweffect settings or similar. I have a Xeon X5675, Quadro 4000, 24Gb RAM and I still get random freezing and hanging when panning, hatching, selecting a simple polyline etc. There is no explanation, so good luck!
