Online map won't show

My survey data is on an assumed coordinate system.  I was able to import and orient the Online Map to my survey data but then I didn't want to see it for awhile so changed it to the Map Off setting.  When I was ready to see it again, I changed it back to the Map Aerial setting, but nothing shows.  Did it lose the coordinate system orientation?  It doesn't seem like it would be difficult for the program to remember the orientation parameters (base point and rotation), but I'm at a loss for what else could be the cause.  Any thoughts would be appreciated since having to either always see the map or reset the parameters every time it is turned on both seem like a pain.

Thanks,

Renee

Please verify it's not a 360 sign in issue .

It doesn't seem like it would be since I've signed out and back in several times (using the sign in/out in the upper right corner of the window).

I've also noticed that the GeoLoc aerial doesn't like to maintain it's position between sessions, if you move it.  The solution seemed to be the capture area/viewport button, next to the aerial/off button.  It saves the raster image right to your current layer.

On the one hand it's nice to hear I'm not the only one with the issue, but on the hand I'm sorry to hear someone else is experiencing it too.  I have resorted to the Capture Area that you mentioned, but have struggled some with clarity issues going that route.  If I'm far enough out to cover a whole site with one capture, the clarity quickly becomes unusable when viewing any area smaller than the whole site.  Whereas with the original aerial, portions of the site can be viewed with much better clarity.

The resolution does seem to be the limiting factor on the tool.  The best solution we found was to just zoom in until the point where you start to notice the degradation and use that as your scale, then just take tiled screen captures like that.  Not perfect, but just as a reference underlay it was sufficient for what we needed.  There's also a toggle on the image properties for the captured "tiles" to adjust the quality, trying it at various settings didn't get us much more resolution than the zoom method, though.  Good luck.
