Object Viewer - empty screen

Hi There,

We seem to have a problem with the object viewer.
A colleague of mine is working with C3D2007 (he will have 2008 next week). I am allready working with 2008.

We built a terrain model, a new alignment for a canal, profile and assembly and corridor for this canal.
The corridor is turned into a surface and we paste it into the surface of the existing terrain.

Everything fine till we got to the idea of watching the new model with the objectviewer. First we tried the 3D orbit view with the view menu. No big problems except for C3D becoming pretty slow. Must be the surface model with an original 200000 points in it.

Anyway, we then tried watching the model by selecting it, right clicking it and then selecting object viewer. Object viewer starts, zoom extents, 3D realistic, 3D wireframe, 3D conceptual, but in all 3 modes just an empty screen (see attachment).

What might be the problem?

I think I had the same problem years ago.
Turn the layer 0 on and that should do it!!!

Unfortunattely that's not it. Layer 0 is allready on.
A view layers were off. But when turning all layers on, selecting the surface and showing it with the objectviewer again nothing is shown in the object viewer screen.

A bug perhaps?

With me works fine, so its not a bug! I'm with C3D 2088 SP2.
The only thing I can figure out is: Did you check changing the surface
style? Maybe the style in use asn't 3D definitions on.
