object projection to profile view (label)

Can anyone provide best practice for showing a vertical label for EDGE OF ASPHALT?

I drew feature line in plan view for edge of asphalt, then projected it in profile view. I created a block from a multileader showing a vertical label for Edge Asphalt Road and attached it in the internal vertex marker style, set it to use drawing scale of 1 and as you can see in picture to the right, the actual label is much smaller than the block. I've tried re-creating the block at 1:1. I've tried toggling on and off annotative inside the block. What am I doing wrong?

I found another way with using points and point groups. I created a point group representing each storm line and sanitary line and then placed points at intersection of alignment and edge of pavement with raw description in mind so I can select all at once. Then on each point group in toolspace, I right-clicked and hit select, then projected all at once and simply toggling the necessary label style during the process.
