No update from the model in BIM360 and wrong north in BIM360

We are now recently working through BIM360 for our Civi3D models. Besides the slow charging on the platform, we have come across 2 other strange things.

  1. With each save to the model, the preview in BIM360 is not adjusted. The version number has been updated in BIM360 and the dwg is also the latest version. This is very annoying because the view in BIM360 is used to do discussions and checks on the model by non modellers.
  2. In BIM360 the north arrow is always turned 90 degrees counterclockwise. In the dwg are ucs and plan put on World.

We work with Civil3D 2020.4 and Desktop Connector 14.0.0.1063.

Who anyone how this can be solved.

Well it appears that your using the English version of C3D and the Dutch version of BIM360, this could be the root cause of the issue.

I am using BIM360 for a long time now and can confirm that for Civil 3D files the north pole is wrong, like you described. For Revit files it is perfect. BIM 360 3D viewer even recognizes true and geographical north. This is clear an issue for the C3D files.
