New symbols in drawing window

[Oh_Snap!]

Using Civil 3D 2021.3,  does anyone know what these symbols are for under the viewport controls?  I've never seen them before and they can't be selected.

Hola @Oh_Snap! 

The symbol indicates that the detail view level is active.

I don't seem to have that panel on my ribbon but typing it at the command line worked. Thanks.
