New Parts List under Pipe Network can't be imported?

Here's my drawing (120924_DWG_002.dwg) that contains a Parts List, SISTEM KUMBAHAN, as you can see below:

But, on a new drawing, when I want to import the Styles ( under Manage->Import), I would expect that this SISTEM KUMBAHAN is showing up when I want to import it. But I get an empty list! 

Why this is so? Is this a bug?

The Pressure Parts List, OTOH, doesn't have this problem. The drawing 130924_DWG_008.dwg contains a SISTEM AIR LUARAN as a Pressure Parts List, but I can detect and import it in a new drawing. 

This is why I think it's a bug there.

Hi @soonhui,

As an alternative to the import you could try dragging and dropping via the settings. If you open both the source and destination drawings. Inside the destination DWG, goto Settings (ensure you have Master View selected), Pipe Network, Parts list, of the source drawing file. And drag and drop the Parts List from the source DWG into the model space of the destination DWG.

@ianjchap , I'm talking about Parts List under Pipe Network that has the problem, but you are showing Pressure Pipe Styles.

They are very different... do I miss anything?

Good point, I read your last sentence and picked up on Pressure Parts list.

However, the same procedure applies to the Pipe Network Parts list:-

@ianjchap , it's not immediately clear from your drawing that the style settings was successfully copied/import from one drawing to another. Are you sure it works, because I can't get it to work on my side.

That was the only way for years to copy a C3D style from one drawing to another. You should be able to just drag a style from the prospector into the current drawing, which is why you need the master view setup to see the other open drawings' styles.

I've done this from a clean DWG holding the parts list _sfav7.....

With the two DWG's open, I goto the destination file and open the settings of the source DWG, in my case Drawing2, then Pipe Networks, Parts List and drag the _sfav7 parts list into the drawing. If I then check the parts list of the destination drawing, in my case ACAD-TEst..  I can see the Parts list has copied across. I'll try to produce a quick video clip of the workflow also.

Not sure why but part list need to be dragged in manually. Open side by side , on setting tab drag the part list from file to file.

Or save the file as dwt and use to start

@ianjchap , thank you for your help! It appears that under ToolSpace->Settings I need to set to the Master View before I can copy that specific styles ( and not all styles) from one drawing to another.

But the million dollar question now is, why Pressure Pipe Network Style doesn't have this problem?
