network parts list question

home tab / create design / create network parts list

I created a new parts list but when I go to another .dwg file it doesn't show up under the network parts list.

Parts lists are saved with each DWG. So no, you wouldn't see it in other DWGs.

You can drag and drop the parts list from one drawing to another in the same way you would a style.

If you are very fond of your part list, you may want to drag and drop it into your startup.dwt file
