Named User

Is there a way to verify an individual has been switched from the Network license to a Name User account.  We would like to test 2022, and the Named User account on a few individuals prior to rolling out company wide.  I think the named user has been setup, but would for the individuals, but would like it verified.

With named user, the user once there name is create signs-in, on a dialogue initially that pops up, using there username and pwd. Thereafter, they will show up in the upper right with there user name. Then they'll need to repeat the process on occasion. The just need to remember there name and pwd. (It's basically signing in here.)

You should check out the instructions here - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/transition-to-named-user/how-to-t...

You first have to add add a user to your account online, verified their email, you then assign them to a product.

Once that has been done, you can get them to switch from network license to named user license - this can be done manually by the user, or you can run a programme from autodesk which will switch most autodesk software to named user licensing.

Check this link for details on switching the licensing on the software - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/transition-to-named-user/update-n...

To check which license type the user has in the software, click on the drop down arrow next to their user name in the top right of the title bar, then select Manage License...

A dialogue will appear which will show the software name and under it the license type - named user license shows as "User License : .." . Network license will show as "Network License :"

Also, you can still be signed into your Autodesk account in the software and use a network license.
