My error message of the day

I get this error when I try and launch Layer properties from the ribbon and also typing "layer" gets the same result. A google search yielded no results. I have tried to repair the install. Any ideas on what this could be. I really don't want to re-install, but I may have to. And this is on C3D 2018

There are potentially a few reasons for this and just as many solutions. The last resort would be a complete and fresh install. However, you may be able to try a few of these suggestions to get it back on track:

1. Check that the coding is not deemed hazardous by Windows.
   1. Go to Control Panel  ->  System  ->  Advanced System Settings  ->  Performance Section  ->  Make sure all AutoCAD .exe files are in exceptions list in the DEP.
2. Try to do a system restore back to a point when this error message was not happening.
3. Finally, and usually works, do a complete reinstall.

Tried most of your suggestions before I posted, but I finally found the problem it was anchored to the left side of the screen, but in a weird place under the toolspace. I guess being locked into such a small area it was causing an error. Thanks for replying
