Multiple sections from the same source showing in individual cross sections

I'm having an issue with a number of cross sections. The cross sections were setup and cut a few months ago. They are dynamically linked to surfaces in other reference files. As the surface has been updated during the project, the cross sections are reflecting the changes. However, in some of the cross sections, the old linework from previous versions of the proposed surface are still being shown. The name and location of the proposed surface hasn't changed.

For example, say I had to narrow a stretch of roadway to provide a wider sidewalk. The cross section at that station will show the narrower roadway pavement, curb & gutter in the new location, and the wider sidewalk. However, it will also show the old finished surface line, so it looks like there's a second curb in the middle of the wider sidewalk.

Is there an efficient way to remove these old lines? The only way I've been able to find is to go through section by section and turn off the old section lines so they aren't being drawn. I attached a screenshot of an individual section that shows some of the sections from previous iterations of the surface/corridor.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure how you are having duplicated data. It should just update to the current version.
But try this: click on a section view, then go to the ribbon and find "Sample More Sources". This controls the data in all of the section views in the whole group. You should be able to remove unwanted data sources for all of them in there.
