missing file for tutorials

Description:
I have a student version of civil 3d 2015 and am currently working through the tutorials but do not have "points.mbd" on my compute, nor do I have a "ProgramData" file on my C:drive as indicated in the tutorial instructions.Please help me obtain the data files needed to proceed with the tutorials.

Welcome to the Autodesk Forum.

I found (and I have attached) the "points.mdb" file on my computer here:
Autodesk >> AutoCAD 2017 >> C3D >> Help >> Civil Tutorials (Your path will be a little different but close to this)

As for the ProgramData Folder, that's a big one that covers more than just AutoCAD.

Most likely the reason you don't see ProgramData folder is because this is a Hidden folder. In Windows, turn on display of Hidden files and folders.

1. Go the start menu and type folder options.
2. Hit enter or click on the result.
3. Go to the View tab.
4. Under Hidden files and folders, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
