Missing Assemblies in Begin/End Cross Sections - Civil 3D 2019

Hi,

I'm encountering a problem with my cross sections for a roadway alignment - the proposed assemblies for the beginning and end stations are not showing up in my cross sections.

It looks like the corridor for this roadway is being chopped off away from the actual begin/end station based on the frequency of the model.  In the attached picture, you can see the sample line and surface (in yellow) at the end station, 210+90.00.  The corridor, however, terminates at 210+88.00, and the Frequency for the corridor is set to 2.  If I increase the Frequency to 5, the corridor terminates at 210+85.00, so the two are definitely linked.  But I'm not sure why the corridor is pulling back from the end station, since it is set to end at 210+90.00 (which is also where the tin surface and profile end).

I'm at a loss - any guidance would be helpful.  I attached two photos: one showing the plan view of the corridor which does not extend all the way to the end station and one showing two cross sections: 210+50.00 (where the assembly comes in fine) and 210+90.00 (where the assembly does not get pulled in.  Do I just need to draft the 210+90.00 assemblies by hand?  I'm probably just going to do this, but I'd like to know where I went wrong here.

Thanks in advance.

I always think that it is best to give yourself a little wiggle room.  You mentioned the surface ending but which one, the existing surface?  Normally I have a -50' at the beginning of the profile and certainly have the alignment go past the end of the desired roadway.  Of course, I may do a few things a little different.

Sometimes just adding something as small as .02' will make a difference.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the quick reply. Extending the profile was the first thing I
thought of, but I am displaying the profile as part of the plan set. How
do you show the proposed profile within the correct limits if it's
extended? Do you wipeout the extensions?

What is wrong with showing the next 50 Station? (or half station.)
