Microdrainage civil 3d 2018 import - Sump Depth

Testing the new Microdrainage Utility for civil 3d 2018...when importing the .mdx file, it picks a specific manhole from the parts list and it assigns a sump depth of 2.0m.

Any ideas on how to change the manhole it picks as default?

Also any idea why it assigns a default sump depth of 2.0m? The rules are all set to 0m depth sump. When you model this manhole normally it doesnt have a sump depth set.

Thanks,

Didn't we see an issue in 2016 / 17 in which sumps defaulted to 2m, I believe this was fixed with a new DLL file.

Regarding the parts.

If you have multiple sizes (diameters) in family in the one part family it will use the first found part. Delete the unwanted parts and re-run and it should only use the ones in your parts list (also re-ordering the parts list so the desired are at the top of the list could work). try saving a new stripped parts list just for windes imports or even create a new network catalogue which only contains the ones you want to use?

I have not got 2018 installed here so I can't test this in action.

The import utility never worked for us in 2016 or 2017.

I tried to use the DLL fix that worked in 2016 but it didnt do anything

I tried as you suggested with a copied limited part list, but that has little effect. Whilst it now picks the correct manhole type, some still come in with a 2m sump which distorts the insertion cover level, once the sump depth is removed it looks ok.

A mi me funciona
