Atwell, LLC. is looking for a CAD Technician in the Naperville and Mesa areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB PURPOSE:
The Survey/CAD Technician is a developmental position working under direct supervision to support a project team by drafting basic drawings, conducting basic research, and preparing final documents for various projects within our office. In this role, an employee will be expected to develop and demonstrate proficiency within the following:
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Prepare survey documents and computations associated with ALTA/Boundary surveys, topographic surveys, plot plans, lot-fit studies,
- Condominium Exhibit B drawings, easement exhibits utilizing AutoCAD and related software packages
- Provide construction-related services including construction plan interpretation, preparation of cut-sheets and staking coordinates.
- Prepare as-built surveys.
- Draft topographic surveys, easements, legal descriptions.
- Review and understand local and state ordinances applicable to projects.
- Support field staff on local work, when needed
- Support Land Development group when
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 3 plus years of experience supporting survey operations as a CAD Technician is required.
- CST certification desired.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required.
- Microstation experience a plus
- Workload management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Illustrate initiative and resourcefulness.
- Adherence to Atwell Product Quality Standards.
- Survey field skills or willingness to support field staff on local work
- Demonstrate a basic understanding and entry-level application of the following technical skills:
