Menu bar

I am new to Civil 3D 2024. My new version had the original dialog boxes but now just has the pull-down menus. How can I toggle to the original menu. This is very different compared to the 2020 version

Do you mean the ribbon display? Like this?

Is your ribbon missing completely? If so use the RIBBON command to turn it back on.

Also try menubar 1 for the old fashion drop down menus. Are menubar 0 to close it.

If you just see the ribbon tab names, and it is not a menu, (the ribbon will expand out when you click on a minimised ribbon tab, where a menu will show a single drop down list of commands) click on the up pointing arrow button that Dave has put a red rectangle around.

If the buttons do not appear on the first click, but the ribbon changes, keep clicking until the ribbon is 

That button cycles through the various ribbon states.
