Match Line and Match Line Hatching STB

Hello, I currently have a design file with viewports and match lines. I am trying to get the Match Line to be black and the Match Line Hatch to be White or transparent. I have set up two layers with different styles as an STB (One for the hatching and one for the line) If I set the match line to layer/Style A, I get a Black line and hatch. If I set the match line to Layer/Style B, I get a white/transparent line and hatch.

I have tried changing the Match Line Style and still no success. The match line appears to be taking the main layer from the properties panel. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

I'm not familiar with .stb setups, but I think you need to change the plot style of the components in the styles box. Currently they are set to by block which allows other settings to change the way it plots. Setting them to specific styles should always force them to that style.

Thank you so much for the help! I've spent days trying to figure this out. For those that may stumble upon this post, I've attached a screenshot of the solution.

  • Right click your match line
  • Edit match line style
  • Under component display, force the plot style to your desired style
