MAPIINSERT not recognizing Image Original Coordinate System

MAPIINSERT not recognizing Image Original Coordinate System

I have been trying to find a way to correctly import a georeferenced image using MAPIINSERT.  The coordinate system of the image is WGS84 Pseudo Mercator, so it uses negative values for the western hemisphere.  When I use MAPIINSERT, the image comes in a negative X location.

I can use MAPCONNECT to edit the image coordinate system and bring it into the correct location, but using MAPCONNECT limits the ability to control/edit the image.  I have the correct coordinate system set up in my drawing settings.  It seems like MAPIINSERT has normally worked in the past with most of our georeferenced images, but is there a way to get it to bring this image into the correct location?

Your first image says using a World File.  What does the world file say. Open it in Notepad.

Matthew,
You can use the Attach/Query Method. Or Raster Tools IINSERT will transform. Another way would be to Transform and re-save in QGIS.

Thanks Dave!  The Raster Tools IINSERT command worked perfectly and brought the image right in to where it was supposed to be.
