Manhole Structure Labels changing when moved

Manhole Structure Labels changing when moved

In my profile view I am attempting to label my manhole structures with the type of work that needs to be done on it. In this case, with the label style I made for this manhole, the original label comes in the way I want it to (see picture), but once it is moved to a different location, the rim information in the label goes from the middle to the bottom line (see second picture). I have checked my dragged state properties for said label but have not seen anything that could hint at why this is happening. Any ideas?

This is because of the way C3D handles dragged labels. Regardless of how they are set in the composer, when dragged the first created component is shown at the top, the last created at the bottom. Components with multiple lines will maintain the line order with in the component, but individual components will reorder based on creation order. Changing the dragged state order to 'as composed' will correct this, but then the leader attachment moves to an arbitrary connection point that usually doesn't look right if the text is rotated, but may be alright if text is horizontal.

The inability to horizontally offset profile manhole labels (the vertical text) without creating an a drag line that crosses structures/pipes has been an issue I've had since I can remember in C3D.  Does anyone have a solution?  The issue seems to be that there is no way to control how the drag line is connected to the MH structure.  This seems to be defaulted to the center of mass but why can't it be selected, or per drafting convention, why is it not defaulted to bottom center?
