M-Files and Cloud-based Solutions

I saw this question was asked back in 2009 but didn't have any responses. Has anyone used M-Files as a cloud storage solution to resolve latency issues? If so, was it successful? We use the Civil 3D tools heavily on our projects and need to make sure everything functions normally when using that platform. We're currently going through testing, and are looking at other options too, but I was curious to find out if anyone else has experience with it. If your business found a different cloud-based solution, what is it and how is it working for you? We have to accommodate Civil, Architectural, Landscape, and Survey groups.

Our company used Egnyte (www.egnyte.com) which is a great cloud base file system.

Does your company use a lot of the C3D tools and functionality? We've found that it's challenging to find a platform on which everything functions as intended. Everything from alignments, profiles, and corridors to data shortcuts and the sheet set manager, as well as simple tasks like editing an x-ref in place, seem to have a variety of issues.

Do you use C3D or AutoCAD?

How does it work with Data Shortcuts?

Also, do you use SSM, and how does it work with that?
