Lost intermediate points (circles) when setting grade

Hi All

I am trying to set the grade between points on a feature line and I can select either the intermediate points (circles) or the end points (triangles) as the first point. But when I try to choose the next point in the process only the triangles are appearing? Is there a visual setting I have accidentally ticked off

I've just checked this myself and the 'intermediate points' you're referring to show up for me after specifying the elevation for the first point selected.

Specify elevation then hit Enter.

You should then see all points highlighted depending on where your cursor is.

Edit: Sorry just realised you mentioned that only the triangles appear on the next step of selection, not sure why this is, what version of Civil 3D are you using?

Yeah

I choose the first point, confirm the elevation and then no secondary points

Strange, works just fine for me and I'm using 2024, I can't find any settings that would disable this. What version of Civil 3D are you using?

The only other thing I can suggest would be to close/reopen Civil 3D and run the AUDIT command on the model to see if that fixes it.

There may also be a hidden setting somewhere that I'm not aware of.

Done and done. Ive restarted, updated ran different commands to clear up and nothing has worked. Even resorted to asking AI

Out of curiosity does it work fine in other models? If so, might be the file itself that is bugged.

I hadnt considered that. Just checked and its only that model that is bugged. How frustrating, looks like I might just have to live with it
