Locked setting

Why there is a lock on this setting? And how do I unlock it?

Dear Friend,

It depends on the region of 'Units and Zone'. When you change the zone this unit changes. So it is a part of the coordinate system. It is dependable and thus locked.

Akbar,

 

As Jeewana says, it locks to the units of your chosen Coordinate System.

 

It also locks to the units of whatever template you choose to open a new drawing. The only way to change it is to assign a Coordinate System that uses different units.
