Lisp or Program to create text from elevations

when we had autocad LDT 09 we used a program called Survey Link that would take the ascii file of the needed points for spot elevations and it would turn it into text and we would edit them from there. but now that ive upgraded to windows 10 and civil 22 i cant use the program anymore. so wondering if theres something else out there to do the same thing

i dont want to use point label settings because ive had too many difficult situations trying to use civil and all its settings/styles that drive me nuts. just looking for a plug and go type program.

see the screen shot of the ground elevations of what i mean.

Hi Stephen,
Survey Link is still a part of Civil 3D. Use Command STARTSURVEYLINK.
If you didn't want to use COGO Points and an Elevation Only style, there are other ways to do what you want to do. You can use a Script to create points and text, or a block with text. I don't know anything about LISP, so I can't help there.
You're among friends here. If you're stumbling a bit, post your sticking point.

I’m sure it’s clear what you want on your end but it’s not clear on this end.

Are you trying to design a surface by feeding C3D points from an ASCII file or do you want to retrieve elevation data from existing points already in the drawing?

Or sumthin’ else?

Don't try to make Civil 3D work the way Land Desktop did. Yes, you know how to do your tasks in LDT, but re-training yourself to use Civil 3D will serve you greatly in your professional life. Call your reseller. They will have resources to help you.
