Links in section view not displaying correctly

Hello,

We are working on a roadway project. For this purpose we have created our custom subassembly.

The problem is that when we create the multiple section views, in some of our sections links are displayed properly and in some sections same links are not displaying at all.

When we enter the section editor option, links do appear but they are still not visible in the section view and we are using the same code set style for both.

To be more clear, I have attached the photo of the section editor.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions,

Milos

Hi @M_Obradovic ,

For the section view that is missing links, do you have a corridor frequency and associated sample line coincident at that problem station?  It might be as simple as that.

Can you possibly share the data so I can check?

Hello @M_Obradovic

I was able to reproduce this issue in C3D v2020.  My suspicion is that there is a constraint problem in this area related to the target surface and how your SAC .pkt is set up to address the various target constraints.  I say this because the existing ground surface doesn't show up in the Section View, but it is sampled.  I even tried to re-create a new view to no avail.  Hopefully, someone else will be able to diagnose better than me.  @KMercier_C3D ?

Have you checked to make sure that your link codes are all set properly in SAC?

Opened up the PKT to check Kati's suggestion and the link codes are indeed missing.

You will want to fill those in.

Hi

I checked all code and everything is ok, but I discovered something new.

All my drawing are connected by Data Shortcut and this happen when I work in this way.

But when I get source drawing and try to do this without data shortcut  everything is ok. Section view appear all codes.

Maybe issue is somewhere in data Shortcut???

Thanks

This info helps and could be the reason why the existing ground surface isn't showing in your section views.  Does your Surface collection (in Prospector) show a yellow-colored shield indicating that the DREF is broken?

No, I don't have any warning sign for surface in prospector, just little square for data shortcut.

Definitely I found issue. It was in my PKT file.

I have a lot of zero links in order to close shape with surface links. I  delete all zero link and everything work properly.

Anyway thank you so much for  trying to help me.

Cheers Milos.
