Hi all,
im having troubles creating a new line type for my companies new CAD standard's. for what ever reason the lines are intersecting the text in the line type. unsure how this has happened as all my other line types are working could anyone help me solve this issue?
Without seeing the linetype. My guess would be you have to make the skip space (the negative value) longer.

Also, verify that the text style you're using does not have any settings that might conflict with your linetype definition.
Right, but does the text style have a size assigned to it already or is it annotative?
Can you post your linetype definition of the two lines, so we could help troubleshoot it a little more?
Here is a free tool that I use from CTC Software.
I don't have a license for the tools but they include a free linetype manager/editor even when the trial expires.

The editor allows you to fill out the settings and visibly see a live preview of the linetype.
