In the "as composed" image, you will see that I have a rounded rectangular border around the first line of label text (structure number) as desired. However, the label text doesn't mirror correctly when the label is dragged to the right side of the object.
In the "stacked text" image, you will see that the label text mirrors nicely on whichever side it is on. However, the rounded rectangular border is removed from the number label.
In the past, most label styles were simple text, so setting the Dragged State to "Stacked Text" was a no brainer and worked fine. But with this different style required, this simple task seems basically impossible. Maybe I am just too ignorant to know what I am doing wrong, or perhaps Civil 3D doesn't seem to have the ability to work around this basic label style problem.
But the problem seems much too pedestrian for an advanced program such as this to not have addressed. Just what is so difficult about allowing the labels to mirror neatly as in the "stacked text" setting while still allowing the settings to display as in the "as composed" setting?
