Labeling structure with modified cardinal direction to other acronym (N, S, E, W -> N, S, E, O)

Good evening forum,

I am trying to figure out a workaround for connected pipe direction by expression but i think it's not possible.

I want to use the cardinal direction but with the french acronym

English - French : 
North (N) - North (N)
South (S) - Sud (S)
East (E) - Est (E)

West (W) - Ouest (O)

I tryed playing around with new expressions but i think there's nothing possible : 

Anyone has an idea ?

And 2nd questions :
Is there a way to know what does the variables store has information ?
Like "connected pipe" isn't really helping with a generic name - Does it return the name ? The Direction ?

I could be completely wrong here but I'm thinking you would need the French language version of C3D installed for that to be possible.

Unfortunately expressions aren't available in the connected pipe component of a structure label.

All I can think of is to edit/make a new font that replaces the letter W with O and use it only for the connected pipe direction part of the text component.
