Label Style

Dear All, Greetings

i am working in civil 3d 2026 , I want the arrow head to point to the geometry but it is coming here as shown in the snap because the elbow insertion point is here , if i want to change the label style like it should always touch the geometry or can adjust manually than it would help me. thanks

This is usually controlled by the Dragged State settings in the label style. Edit the label style and check the Layout and Dragged State Components to ensure the leader anchor is attached to the feature rather than the elbow. If you need per-label adjustments, you can also grip-edit the label after placement, but updating the dragged state in the style will give you consistent behavior across the drawing.

Unfortunately, if it is a pressure pipe, it might not be able to touch the geometry.  I'm pretty positive Civil 3d uses the boundary of the physical object for its attachment point, not the visible symbol you see.  So what may be going on is the 3d part is bigger than the shown symbol.  Or, at one point, I know there was an update that tightened up those boundaries, although I dont think it was after 2026 came out, so it should have already been there.  I think in some of the older versions it treated it as a square.
